So who else is watching this?

And if not, get watching.

For those who wonder if its sci fi / fantasy it has giant (unseen) killing creatures, PSI, polar bears on a tropical island, portents of evil, mad French woman, miracleous cures

Really - watch it

Haven't seen it yet? When is it on? I'm only getting used to all these new-fangled channels!

Maybe I should see if I can bittorrent it to catch up on the episodes I've missed.

You reckon it's good, OK then I'll give it a go.
I admit I stayed away from it because I got so peed of with JJ Abrams other show Alias, which quickly went up it's own ass.
But I'll give Lost a chance.

When it was first described to me, I reckoned "what a load of sh@@e" - but then I was pressured into watching it

I'd put it up there with early X Files, Babylon 5 etc

No comparison to Alias at all

LOST has either one of the most complex and well thought out plot lines- or the writers make it up as they go along. I've seen all of Season 1 - and it does not flag

Note to self - must start the review on the website

I've watched the whole series, very very good stuff.

I'm not sure it will keep up with itself, there is a distinct possibility it will end up introducing too many new mysteries without solving any existing one.

Having said that, at the end of series 1 they *have* solved two or three mysteries, and created the setup for an action-packed 2nd series.

What I reckon they should do is set a limit on how long they will run the show, and aim to tie up all loose ends by then. If they can sell that to the networks, then I will be avidly watching.

So where in the season are you at?

And any theories on the mysteries so far?

I'm the only person I know who's watched it, but I don't want to swamp the place with spoilers.

Well RTE have shown up to episode 7, but a friend (who got me to watch this) and my good self have seen the first season - bar a 30 second glitch in Exodus 1 which menat we did not see what the tree smashing pilot chewing thing was

we could go private to discuss theories, or just make them cryptic enough to annoy every else

Actually just starting a review page on my site, so theories / comments / reviews welcome
