New Irish Movie Nears CompletionLostCarPark received the following press release from independant film maker Paul Cotrulia. Although not strictly speaking SciFi, Paul's previous work includes the short horror film, "Soul Snatcher", and we wish him every success with The Session. Paul's next project will be a CGI Sci-Fi/Horror movie.

Since its auditions in February 2002, "The Session" has been the most awaited Irish youth culture Movie ever! The auditions were advertised in a nationwide poster/handout campainge and on reginal radio and newspapers across the country. All u had to do was visit http://www.paulcotrulia.com for details on how to be a star of the new movie.

The audiotions held at Connely house, Dublin had an overwheling turnout of young talant. Among those chosen to apear in the feature were many Familiar Irish television stars and recording artist's including Laura Howard and Louise Kerr from RTE Soap "Glenroe", Ultan Murphy from RTE's "On Home Ground", Kevin McCarthy From the Punk Bank "DogRack" and Paul Reid previously seen in many Irish television commercials.

Principle Photography of "The Session" finaly comenced in June after Months of rehersals and fundraising with a month of shooting in various locations in Dublin City and Navan in Co. Meath.

Writen, Produced and Directed by Paul Cotrulia. The movie deals with issues such as sex and drugs in a very American style to apeal to a wider audience.

"The Session" follows a day in the life of a few teenage friends, when 'Paddy' (Kevin McCarthy) returns home from College he discovers his parents have gone away and he has the house to himself. He calls 'Mark' (Tom Fagan) and 'Shane' (Paul Reid) who help him organise a wild house party. The night starts well but when Drug Dealer 'David' (Ultan Murphy) arrives the session gets violenly out of control!
