Interaction Rates Going Up

Thu 29th May 2003

Interaction Rates Going UpLostCarPark must offer its humble apologies to David Stewart, Irish agent for Interaction, for not reporting this in a more timely manner.

Interaction, the World Science Fiction Convention for 2005 has announced that is membership rates will go up on June 1. The new attending rate will be 135, up from 120. However, the supporting rates, which entitles members to all privileges except that of attending the convention, is going down because of currency fluctuations from 50 to 45.

The convention has also announced an instalment plan. Normally, if you pay the supporting rate, you can convert to an attending membership by paying the difference between what you paid and the attending rate in force at the time you convert. However, if you agree to pay for an attending membership over a fixed number of instalments, the attending rate is frozen at the time you originally join. To pay by credit card in Dollars or Sterling, go to where you will be able to download an application form. If you wish to pay in cash in euros, contact Interaction's Irish agent, David Stewart at
