Crazy Dog Go Live with New Website

Thu 12th Sep 2002

Crazy Dog Go Live with New WebsiteThis Saturday, the first episode of Crazy Dog Audio Theatre's new series, Crazy Dog Live, will be broadcast from RTÉ's radio centre. Not only that, it will go out live, in front of a studio audience, so if anything goes wrong, the whole country will hear about it.

The broadcast takes place at 11:02am (British Summer Time -don't forget to adjust if you live in a different zone) on RTÉ Radio 1, on FM, MW and the Internet. Visit http://www.radio1.ie for details.

This episode is titled Ferdia The Druid and features Frank Kelly (who played Fr Jack in the Fr Ted TV series) as a special guest for this episode. The voice talents of Anne Byrne, Morgan Jones and Roger Gregg will also be heard. Live sound effects will be provided by Eoin O'Brien.

The audience will also play a key role, and a special rehersal for the audience will precede the broadcast. Writer Roger Gregg is constantly thinking of new ways to use and abuse his audiences, and this is sure to be no exception.

To coincide with the new series, Crazy Dog have relaunched their website, adding details of all six episodes, as well as previous productions by the company, all presented in an exciting Flash interface.

This is an exciting venture for RTÉ and Crazy Dog. Audience tickets are free, but must be booked in advance by phoning 01 2082728 or emailing crazydoglive@rte.ie .

We look forward to seeing you there!
